    Contacted support, seems it is something they would issue a replacement for

     

    Unfortunately, I purchased these jaybirds while on holiday in Australia (previous X3s broke on a run) and Jaybird unwilling to ship a replacement to Europe - so I got a dead $250 headphone on my desk which I can do nothing about
