Unable to connect my Jaybird Tarah Pro on Windows 10 Pro laptop

    Hi Dju, 

     

    I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird Tarah Pro won't connect to your laptop. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

     

    Before starting this process please “FORGET” or “REMOVE” your Tarah Pro device in your Bluetooth list of discovered devices in your phone or music device.

     

    1. Put your earbuds in to pairing mode. Press and hold the Middle Button until the earbuds turn off. Then press and hold the Middle Button for 5 seconds until the white LED starts blinking.

    2. While the white LED is blinking press the Middle Button twice.

    3. The red LED illuminates briefly, and then the white LED starts blinking again.

     

    Then try to connect your Jaybird Tarah Pro to your laptop only.

    It seems I need to do this operation each time I want to switch device (from laptop to mobile phone or reversely).

    Any reason why it is not possible to switch device automatically without having to go through those manual steps?

    Hi,

     

    I am having the exact same problem.

     

    Connects fine to Android but whenever I go to use on Windows 10 the headset does not work properly - despite showing drivers for Jaybird Tara Pro stereo and handsfree.

     

    Very annoying and needs to be fixed in software.

    Hi there I've recently purchased my Tarah Pro earpieces. Everything is awesome until I face this exact same problem - where I have to reset the headphones every single time I switch a device. On my own phone (Samsung S8) it fails to pair, while for my laptop (Windows 10) it is not even discoverable via Bluetooth.

    Please advise as it will greatly enhance my experience using Tarah Pro. Thank you.

    I have the same problem too
    My Jaybird Tarah Pro fine with any Android and can't connect to Windows 10, the Bluetooth add device showing Jaybird Tarah Pro but it can't connect with the earphone just paired

    Hey, I think I have the solution. For my case is turn off your tarah pro and turn it on by press and hold the middle button until the pairing mode sound is appearing, the pairing mode can be known when the white light started to flashing continuously. Then you just pairing to device that you want. It works for my case. Sorry for my bad English

    Thanks Sukron!! I think what was missing before you posted is that you have to hold the button down to until the white light starts flashing and then click the middle button twice.
