Problem with Tarah firmware update

    Hi marcelzxc,

     

    I am sorry to hear that you cannot update your Jaybird Tarah's firmware and I'd like to help.

     

    Please try the following as applicable:

     

    1. Make sure earbuds are connected to the Jaybird app

    2. Ensure the buds and phone remain powered on and close to each other during the OTA

    3. Reset the earbuds and re-install the Jaybird app

    4. If you changed their voice prompts to be ‘tones only’, change this back to ‘voice prompts and tones’

    Hi Bruce. I've done these steps before and the problem continues.

     

    1. (Yes, and he ask me to update but no update)

     

    2. (Side by side)

     

    3. (More than 5 times reseted the Tarah and re-installed the app and cache erased and data erased too)

     

    4. (Voice and tones ok)

     

    I granted all permissions to the app. Every time I open the app he asks me to update and then he shows me the message "low battery" and don't update, but the battery is charged, both on the Tarah and on the smartphone. The headphone are ok, play music, controls are ok etc... except that they don't change the EQ settings... the sound keeps flat all the time even I applying different EQs. Every move that I do in the app they ask to update and comes the bug "low battery". I have a X3 and it's ok the app is normal with him. I don't know how to proceed. (sorry my english, brazilian here)

    Case solved! I updated the firmware on other smartphone and after I open the app on my phone and the bug was gone. Now I can change normally the EQ settings and he keeps the settings. Thanks! Hugs
