    Hi Cydric,

I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird X4 won't turn on. I can assure that this is not the behavior and performance expected from the product. Please try these suggestions that can help to resolve the issue of your headset:

    - Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.

    - Try a different power source/charger

    - Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.

    - Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2.5 hours,

    - To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.

    - Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.

    - Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

I also have exactly the same issue with my x4's. They are only two months old and nothing I try get them switched back on. When I plug them into my laptop the green light comes on, but other than that - nothing. Reading Jaybird_Bruce's suggestions above, maybe the company should issue instructions on how to charge this device to prolong it's life! What a waste of money this was.

they are sending me a replacement. So really good customer support, but looks like the X4’s have a design flaw or something. Maybe only 0.1% will experience this but it is strange to see a brand new product shit the bed in the first few months of use.

Thank you Str8jakin, I will make contact with them and see how to go about. Hopefully the new unit will be from a good batch.

I have a X4 and already after a few days it's completly dead. I have to say, this is the second time. My previous set was also dead after a few weeks. I did the reset but it did not even react .

I have had this happen on multiple pairs of x3 and now on a 2 month old pair of x4. Jaybird won't replace due to the original x3 warranty period expiring. Jaybird claims this is not a widespread issue. Is there any way to fix this? Two months seems like a short time for $130 headphones to last.

I am in exactly same situation.  X$ replacement set for faulty X3 stopped working outside of the X3 warranty.

Seems a very common situation. Mine are very little used and suddenly do not turn on after charging. As in so many other cases they show asteady green light when charging but will not react to any commands, in our out of the the charger.

How can this be happening to so many users if there is not some systematic issue creating this issue is a certain number of sets or batches.

Like many others in my situation, I am a former fan promoting your brand, now being turned to instead advise against using Jaybird.

Jaybird please advice what to do?  (and please enough of that standard charging tips post you have given so many times to people with unresponsive units). If you do care about your reputation and customers, please at least show it on your own forum.
