@Chris Turner I am sorry to hear that, please try these steps below and let me know if that helps.

Firmly but quickly press the power button 8 times and then hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 2 times.

When finished, plug the headset into the charger. Most of the time if the headset turns RED it will charge and function normally again, Make sure that if the light is red to fully charge the unit again.

Try holding the power button down for 10 seconds also some times it takes longer to turn them on.

@Beau Brace , thank you for responding. I've tried the 8-5-8-5 thingy. worked for one day until I got to the gym. I'm going to try charging the headphones in the car every time I'm off to the gym. if I can get the headphones to turn on after disconnecting them from the charger, I'll leave them on until I've finished my routine.

expensive headphones with great sound, but this won't-turn-on issue is very frustrating.

btw, I've only used them less than 20 times since I bought them.

    cheers.

Jaybird organised a refund for me. Thank you. I've just purchased a set of apple AirPods but the sound and functionality is definitely inferior to the Jaybird headphones. Has the company solved the turning-on (above) and Bluetooth connectivity problems? I'm inclined to return my AirPods and buy the X3's instead. But only if they've identified and solved the bugs.

Hello, I bought the Jaybird X2 on January and for the past two months I have this power on issues. The first time they wouldn't turn on I reached this page and followed the reset guide (quickly press the power button 8 times and then hold for 5 seconds) and the process did work. However, since that first time the issue reappears quite often; out of a sudden and after having used them say one hour before, they won't turn on and I need to connect them to a charger for an instance to get them back on. This is getting frustrating, especially when I am out with no charger available..

Is there anything I can do?

    Thank you for your time.
