@Timothy Lewis Not on the headset itself. Is there any wax build up on the tips? Also maybe try this hard reset to see if that helps.

During the pairing mode ( red / green ) it is possible to reset your headphones. First follow the steps to enter pairing mode. By powering up the headset, holding past the ( green ) led light till you receive the multi color flashing.  Then instantly switch and hold the up & down key simultaneously until the dual color status indicator LED rapidly flashes 5 times and or a double high tone is heard threw the headset.

You'll want to delete & repair the headset to your music player once finished with that.

Hi Beau, I have a Printer’s magnifying glass so I could look very closely. There seemed to be some sort of membrane that looks like hair, and underneath that you can see a fine screen. There was very little wax if any at all, but when that hairy membrane was removed, it worked fine. Is that something that keeps the sweat out? If so, I think the sweat may bother my unit now. I hope not… …just following directions to clean out any wax. Kindest Regards Timothy W. Lewis Enterprise Information Management Business Intelligence

@Timothy Lewis There is a screen there to protect the headset from sweat. But if that headset does continue to bother you with the low sound just let me know and I'll help you out.

Does the screen consist of fine material that looks somewhat like hair under a microscope? If it does then it is gone and it took alot of work to get it out. It now sounds the same, but I guess I took out something I shouldn't have. It must have been plugged with something very fine. If you can help me out I would appreciate it greatly. I'm sure the warrantee against sweat is null and void. Had it not had a problem, how do you clean them without damaging them?

@Timothy Lewis Im not too sure, If that was the screen you would definetly know. It looks the same as the canal on the headset.

There is a metal "Screen" that was behind this other stuff.  I removed the other stuff and not the sides are balanced...  what is the other stuff supposed to do?  Is it the first thing you see when looking through the hole, or should the screen be the first thing you see?

The screen should be the first think that you see. The screen is the metal part you are speaking about.

How are you supposed to clean them? Do they come apart in anyway? Kindest Regards Timothy W. Lewis Enterprise Information Management Business Intelligence

@Timothy Lewis I would just clean them with a cotton/ alcohol swabs. There isn't a way to take the headset apart. So every now and then I would clean them.
