Got Freedoms in spring 2017, they worked wonders for about a year then I started noticing the battery was lasting less and less time. I left for a 3 month trip and just came back, I had left the earphones at home turned off and disconnected from the charger. When I found the earphones the battery had inflated like a balloon and the casing was exploded open. Is this a known issue with Jaybird bluetooth earphones? Now I have to look for new earphones but I would rather not spend >100$ on new Jaybirds (as much as I loved every other aspect of them) if the battery starts to degrade disastrously after a year. Does anyone know what could cause this? Picture attached in state I found them.
