    Hello Ralphg,

     

    Thank you for joining the community and for posting your query. I can definitely help you with this one.

     

    You can clean your Jaybird Freedom's exterior but it should be done with extreme care to prevent it from being damaged or ripped. Also, it requires to be dried before using.

     

    The most simple way to clean this is by wiping it with a clean cloth that has been mildly dipped in water (not soaked or drenched). Then for the insides (part where the buds are inserted), you will need to use the rounded edge of a bobby pin to wipe or scrape off any debris that inside it.

     

    You can also clean the ear tips regularly of dirt and wax buildup. 

     

    To clean, remove ear tips from earbuds, then gently wipe away dust and oil with a dry cloth, and/or use warm water and mild soap to remove buildup. Completely dry before reattaching. 

     

    Before charging, ensure your buds (and charge case if applicable) are completely dry of sweat and water.
