The right ear of my X3 earphones is not as loud as left and it no longer sounds clear. I think it needs to be replaced. Please help.

    Hi Zimm,

I am sorry to hear that Jaybird X3's right earbud's volume is lower than the left. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

Here is a list of steps for the Factory Reset:

1.Make sure your buds are powered off.

2.From an off state, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds until the LEDs flash red and green.

3.Double press the power button. The LED will flash rapidly and you should hear a double tone. Your buds have now been reset.

You can further isolate the issue by testing using a different device or a device with a different OS and checking the voice prompts if it plays with the same volume on both sides.

Has there been any update to this? I have experienced this issue. 2 week old Jaybird x3’s. Have done the rest twice, hasn’t helped. Ear bud on non control side at very low volume. Can’t get it to change. What is the next step in this process?

What's the deal with this issue ? Bought my first pair of x3 in July and it wont hold charge for more than 3 hours. got a replacement. Worked fine for a month and now the volume on one ear is significantly less than the other one. Tried master reset, re pairing et all. Why are there so many issues with this product ? can someone help?

I am having same problem with x3. I have significantly less volume on right compared to left earbud. I tried all possible troubleshoots before contacting Jaybird. Initially they were really reluctant to place replacement order but finally more than a month and half latter they gave replacement.

I also have the exact same problem with my x3, but with my left earbud.

I have tried to reset and also tried with another device.

    I use I-phone. I bought my x3 just a month ago.

    What to do?
