    Hi Jacobthebold,


    We are glad to hear that you got a new Jaybird RUN and Samsun Galaxy Note 8. Based on your description, this should not happen even though that the Bluetooth version are different. The reason for this is that mobile phones is capable of pairing with other devices that has a lower version of Bluetooth. This goes the same with the Jaybird RUN.


    I suggest that you try a reset on the buds and ensure that all updates are installed on your phone before pairing it.


    To soft reset your right earbud:

    1. Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.
    2. Open the charge case and remove your earbud.


    To hard reset your right earbud:

    1. Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for three seconds.
    2. With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for six seconds until the LED flashes green. 
    3. Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.
