    Hi NC Park,

     

    Thank you for purchasing the Jaybird RUN and for being a Jaybird fan. I am sorry to hear that the audio on your Jaybird RUN is delayed and occurs on different devices.

     

    I would like to know the following details to check the issue further.

     

    Does the issue occur during normal music/video listening and no internet/WiFi connection involved?

    Do you experience the issue on specific apps and/or audio/video file types?

    Does the issue occur when doing specific daily activities (i.e while running or household chores)?

     

    For now, I would like to perform a factory reset on the Freedom and do test on any of your devices while the Jaybird App is installed.

     

    -Factory Reset

     

    To soft reset your right earbud:

     

    -Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.

    -Open the charge case and remove your earbud.

     

    To hard reset your right earbud:

     

    -Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.

    -With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.

    -Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.

    Hello, I bought my pair of Jaybird RUN 3 hours ago and am taken aback by the sync/ connectivity issues. It happened on my iPad, iPhone and macbook. Quick replies to some of the questions posted above: -Internet/wifi connection is involved (I’m not living in Antarctica) -Facing sync issues in Apple Music, YouTube app, YouTube through safari, Spotify, videos recorded by phone. -This issue persisted when I’m in a park, home and gym. Factory resets, soft or hard didn’t work; the sync issue remains. I certainly did not expect this when I bought this product. Kindly advise. Regards, Erdion

    We allow for a small amount of latency when watching video using Jaybird RUN. To ensure a premium music and sound experience and to guarantee the left and right earbud are always in sync, we introduce a small latency. The amount of latency can differ based on your operating system and video streaming app.

     

    Jaybird RUN are designed to ensure a premium audio experience while running.

    Jaybird Run audio lag fix: Install Metronome app from Google Play and go to app settings. Once there scroll down to Audio Latency Offset. Move the slider above the reset button all the way to the left and just enjoy your videos with the audio as they should be.

    The app Pastorod is talking about won't fix it since the app only goes up to a 200ms audio delay and the Jaybirds have a 500-600ms audio delay

    Altough that kind of delay is crazy, when I set it to 200ms it looks as though there is no delay while using Netflix, Youtube, Terrarium, and Showbox. Could just be my eyes but I'm very satisfied with it's syncing when I'm viewing now as opposed to without the app.
