    Hi Bigmark,

Thank you for posting here in support community. I am sorry to hear that the left side of your Jaybird RUN stopped working when performing a phone call. I can assure that this is not the behavior and performance expected from our product.

I would like to provide some troubleshooting steps that can help to resolve the left bud issue of your Jaybird RUN.

If you’re not hearing audio from your left Jaybird RUN bud, it may need to be re-connected to the right master bud. To connect your left RUN bud:

    1. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and forget Jaybird RUN from the list of paired devices.

    2. Take both buds out of the charge case and turn them off manually by pressing the multi-function button for 3 seconds. A red LED will confirm the buds turning off.

    3. Grab your right bud and press the multi-function button for 6 seconds until the green LED starts to blink.

    4. Double press the multi-function button. The bud will reset (orange LED) and turn off (red LED).

    5. Press the multi-function button for 6 seconds until the green LED starts to blink.

    6. Single press the multi-function button (within 10 seconds), the green LED will blink faster.

    7. Now grab your left bud and press the multi-function button for 6 seconds until the green LED blinks at the same speed as the right bud.

    8. Place both buds close together until the left LED turns off confirming that the left and right are connected.

    9. You can now pair Jaybird RUN to your device again.

    Pairing RUN to your device:

    1. Turn off the right bud by pressing the multi-function button for 3 seconds.

    2. Enter pairing mode by pressing the multi-function button for 6 seconds.

    3. Go to Bluetooth settings on your device and select Jaybird Run.

If the troubleshooting steps above does not resolve the issue. I highly suggest to contact our support team for further assistance. You can reach them via Chat, Email or Phone at https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/support.html

Hi! I have the same issue and I am not sure the question was understood.

The point is that for ANY call you make with RUN it seems that audio is only present on the right bud. I can confirm this issue. Even when listening to music on both buds and receiving a call while listening, the call is only present on the right bud. This does not make any sense. When will this be changed?

Jaydird_Axel is wrong - this is expected behavior according to the Jaybird website. Frustrating as you should have the option to control this but you don't:

"When connected to your phone, your earbuds will act as the primary audio source for a call. By default, you can accept and end phone calls using your right Jaybird RUN multifunction button.

To accept an incoming call, single press on your right earbud. The call audio is limited to the right earbud. When you accept a phone call, the left earbud will allow ambient sound in to assist with better hearing your own voice. This avoids the need to take the left earbud out during phone calls.

To end a call, single press on your right earbud. Audio transparency will automatically turn off and, if applicable, audio will resume."

Bought mine this week and just made my first voice call with them, the audio is only in the right ear and that kinda sucks since I'm left handed, I'm left biased.

Sorry for any confusion. That's actually correct, calls are limited to the Right (Master) earbud only. For more information, please see the article here:
