You should definitely be excited about RUN, because it's an amazing headphone. In addition to this, to get the best possible Bluetooth connection, we recommend following the steps in the FAQ [ https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/run-faq.html#connection ] How do I get the best possible Bluetooth connection?

Just got my pair yesterday... They were fine when I used them at home out in the suburb. The fit is great. The sound is very good once I used the app to adjust to my liking.
However, when I used them this morning walking to work from public transportation to my office?, the left earpiece was cutting in and out. It was very annoying.
It is very unfortunate that the reply that Jaybird is providing so far is to stay away from "dense signal" areas. Even though supposedly this is a "common" problem, there are other companies who have solved the problem.
I love Jaybird products before this. I owned X2 and X3. I am very satisfied with them especially X3 with the app.
Jaybird Run, on the other hand, is rather questionable. I am considering returning them. I will hold on to them for a few days and hope that I will hear that Jaybird will be able to solve the problem by firmware. But, if it's a hardware issue and the response from Jaybird remains essentially "tough luck!", they will be returned.

My headphones say they have the latest firmware. My left earbud is still losing connection even after following steps to get a better signal. I never experienced this issue with my X2 or my X3 or even my Freedom and Freedom 2. I am a huge fan of JayBird. I used them throughout all of my competition preps. I would love to keep my Run's. I hope you can respond with a solution to this issue soon!

I am a new user of this earbud with the latest firmware. The sound drop in less than 2 seconds happened a couple of times in outdoor environment including in a moving car. I suggest Jaybird must further improve it and the single channel in certain states. The fitting is quiet good compared with other similar products on the market.

Jaybird_Axel - Could you spend more time reading the comments before sending out your response. That was pretty careless of you.
A-Game has the latest firmware for his buds. So do I, and yet I still have terrible connection issues and drop-outs with the left earbud. I can't take them running, which is the only reason I bought them in the first place (after all, they are called Jaybird Run). So what am I supposed to do now, just chalk this up to a loss of CAD$230? Please respond.

Having the exact same issue. Im just sitting completely still at my desk and the left earbud disconnects and connects randomly very frequently. Updating the buds did nothing. Im returning these tomorrow, im not throwing my money at company that releases half finnished products. The whole experience up to actually using them felt very premium though, its a shame really...

I am truly disappointed in my purchase. After hard work getting 200 euros (14 year old) being paid minimum wage. My old earbuds were JBL bluetooth but with wire. Those lasted me around 1 year after sweat, rain and received a beating. It was unfortunate when my left earbud in the JBL just randomly stopped working, but I was not disappointed with what it had served me. It was was half the price not to mention. All good times come to an end so for christmas, I decide to reward myself with these Run Jaybird earbuds, they looked amazing and the website only stated but good things. I buy it and within the first couple of minutes after unboxing it I was already disappointed. Nowhere on the website does it state, "triggering/tearable sync". Quite frankly I don't use earbuds for youtube or social media so I let that slide, but just the thought of paying 200 euros and not even getting decent sync is disturbing. Nowhere on the website does it state, "Lying earbuds". After leaving the earbuds in the case while the case was charging, they say "power on, 80 percent." The right earbud seems to be more consistent, but I have never heard the left one say "Fully charged". I wanted these earbuds for sports, whether it be gym, running or soccer. I ran and played soccer the whole year with the other ones, no problem. I can't even leave my phone next to me while working out, the connection is that bad. I tried playing soccer with it and you wont believe it. I put it in my pocket and it still has connection problems. The other earbuds I would leave it in my bag for soccer balls next to the goal while shooting out side the 16 yard box diameter. I have barley been using these earbuds because it is just unusable unless you are moving your phone 24/7 like trying to connect phone calls in the 80s. So if any staff member reads this please fix the connections issue. For now make sure to buy my old JBL next time. Hopefully you can convince me otherwise.

I’ve tried the Bose frees, beoplay e8’s, sol amps, and these runs. So far the Runs have everything I wanted, the great fit, the great sound, but sadly the connection is aweful. It’s sad, I’ve always had Jaybird Bluetooth headphones. Now with this problem, I’m starting to lose faith in them. Going to try the Samsung’s. -
Funny that this string popped up when searching the new found issue. I just purchased a couple days ago, charged, and am now using while sitting at my desk at work. Background music is nice when you look at spreadsheets all day! Question, what's more annoying: A computer's blue screen of death or headphones where the left ear is constantly on off on off on off on off? I find each pretty similar and in both cases something is being replaced.

Hi ScottXe, The fitting is just ok, it is really not the best. I tried all 3 sizing, none of them fit me perfect, I finally chose the small one. All of them cannot place into my ear as per the instruction. However, I try shake my head and some jogging at home, both ear pods can stick to my ear firmly, but not yet have time for a real jogging. So u better try it before u buy it
