Will Jaybird fix the connectivity issues before release?
When I heard that Jaybird was releasing the wireless Run earbuds, I was very excited. Well, until I read the reviews.

I have a pair of Jaybird X3s, which has problems with bluetooth connectivity in the city. The audio drops often while walking around outdoors. There are numerous threads on this on the X3 forum, which many have contributed to. However, the official answer from Jaybird is to move the audio source (phone) closer to the earbuds (arm band). Many have noted that this also did not fix the issue.
Now onto the Run. These new wireless earbuds have not been released yet. However, reviewers who have received a review pair have noted the connectivity issue that plagues the X3. Will you make a better effort into fixing the connectivity issue, prior to the release of this earbud, or will you keep sticking to the suggestion of wearing an armband and, possibly, moving to a less urban environment.
Is this why all your advertisements feature people using your earbuds in the wilderness or mountains and the indoors?

Hi forrest_grumps,
Thanks again for your feedback and questions. We look into all of our feedback to make sure we deliver you and other Jaybird supporters the best experience possible. We wanted to respond with a bit more detail that will hopefully answer your questions.
We're confident our Jaybird supporters will have a great experience with RUN based on extensive athlete and user testing - indoors and out. You should definitely be excited about RUN, because it's an amazing headphone. In addition to this, to get the best possible Bluetooth connection, we recommend following the steps in the FAQ How do I get the best possible Bluetooth connection?
We also wanted to address your issues with X3. To be more specific on this one, the controller houses the Bluetooth antenna. Make sure the controller is on the same side as your phone, not just closer. That should get you a better connection.
If not, then what you're experiencing with your X3 is not normal, and we'd be happy to help you swap out your current X3 buds for a replacement. We want to make sure you're having a great experience. You can reach them via Chat, Email or Phone at https://jaybirdsport.com/en-us/support.html#contact.5550592
Best Regards,

The Jaybird Run has the same connectivity issue that all Jaybird earbuds have. Jaybird has been lazy to fix that. The audio connectivity indoors is usually a lot better than outdoors. Jaybird suggests wearing an armband to keep your device within 2 feet of your earbuds, to improve connectivity. This is so backwards that I keep laughing whenever I see the suggestion. The reason for the arm band was because of wire earbuds or headphones while exercise. Now that the wire has disappeared, why would we keep around the armband that ensured that the wires would not detach?
The unique connectivity issue with the Run is that they are wireless through 2 bluetooth connections. The right earbud connects to the media device and the left earbud connects to the right earbud. So audio will be transferred to the right earbud and the audio, specific to the left earbud, will be send to the left earbud. The reason for the unique delay is that, even indoors, Jaybird earbuds will have connectivity issues. So when the right earbud bluetooth connection drops and connects again, it will then send the signal to the left. Thus a weird delay. This is why, when you open up the Jaybird app to see the battery usage, the right earbud will usually have less battery than the left.
