My wife purchased a pair of the Freedom 2 headphones as a New Year’s gift from the Apple Store. I have used them without issue for six weeks until my run yesterday afternoon. The headphones were connected and working without issue when they suddenly disconnected from my phone and died. I tried to turn them back on and to reconnect them to my phone but quickly decided that the side of a fairly busy highway wasn’t the safest place to troubleshoot a pair of $249 headphones. I arrived home and after some research, tried resetting them to no avail. I then plugged them into a different wall charger and outlet thinking that would solve it. I left them overnight and they still won’t turn on. The charging light on the battery/charging pack is green but neither the green nor the red light on the headphones themselves is on. This is a serious letdown for such an expensive product. Please advise on how to proceed. Thank you.
