I have a set of freedom 2 headphones that took a trip through the washing machine and the dryer. The only damage that i believe occurred was to the internal battery to the headphones themselves. The charge clip still takes charge and holds charge as it normally would. When it is all hooked up to power both the red lights come on. The clip will charge fully and that light will go to green. When the clip is attached to the headphones(charging) the red light on the headphones blinks about every 3 seconds. The headphones power on only when the charge clip is attached and operate normally as they would before with the start up sequence saying headphones connected and then stating the battery level, although now they always say “charge me” as if there is no battery charge at all. When I take off the charge clip and try to power them on, I get nothing, no results. I’ve tried doing the rice bowl overnight as well as charging overnight. Same results. So all that leads me to believe that the only issue is the internal battery inside the headphones. Is it possible to send the headphones in and receive a battery replacement service?? Please let me know. Thank you!
