    Hi Angsty,

     

    I'm glad to hear that the Jaybird Freedom and MySound App met your expectations. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Bluetooth connection of the device. Here are suggestions that you can try that can help resolve it.

     

    - Perform a factory reset

     

    1. Turn headphones off.

    2. Put headphones into Pairing mode by holding the middle button for 6-8 seconds until it says "Searching for your Music Device" and the headphones to flash red and green.

    3. Once in Pairing Mode, push the middle button twice and wait for the lights to flash red and turn off. 

    4. Delete or "Forget" the headset profile from the Bluetooth list of the mobile device. 

    5. Put headphones back into pairing mode and connect them to your device. 

    6. Test the headset afterwards.

     

    - Try using the headset in Casual Fit (under the ear).

    - Update the firmware of the headset.

     

    1. Download and Install the Jaybird Freedom Firmware Update Assistant:www.jaybirdsport.com/dfu/
    2. Put the Freedom buds in DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode. Make sure the buds are turned off, then follow the steps on the screen.
    3. Click Next to start the update.
    4. Click Finish to close the utility.
    5. After the update, the buds turn off automatically and will be in pairing mode when turned back on. You will need to complete the pairing process as if the buds are new.

    The reset seemed to help me, thanks.

    I do agree they seem to lose BT connectivity too often but maybe it's my phone. It's not saying it disconnected but the sound cuts out. I found a spot where it just cuts out anytime I walk down this path that's about 20 yards long. That's with my phone in my pocket

    the reset is not helping at all. i have my phone in my pocket cleaning a pool and 3 or 4 spots around the pool have it skipping and cutting out. Thats just one place of the many it's doing this. I like everything else about these but they are impoosible to use like this.

     

    I had to make a 2nd account because the email to reset my password was not going through.
