I contacted Jaybird via chat yesterday (and saved the transcript) and was told to simply leave the buds on the charger for an hour. That didn't work. So I found an answer from an employee here on this forum that said to press the power button eight times, then hold for 5 sec (x2) before leaving in the cradle for 2.5 hours.
That somewhat worked, I left it charging overnight while I slept. When I tried them this morning without the cradle they worked for all of 15 seconds before dying. When I put it back in the cradle the LED actually changed to orange to signify charging, but said that it was fully charged after 15 seconds. For some reason the battery has absolutely no capacity left whatsoever.
It bugs me that something as simple as a battery holding its charge is not something that Jaybird could handle. I paid $200 for these earbuds and I expected better.
