I also came from powerbeats3 to x3. While the concept of Jaybirds are great such as its equalizer app, sound, fit is better than beats, etc., Durability sucks almost as bad as powerbeats. So it seems like a brand that checks off all the boxes, but what's the use if you can't enjoy them? Other numerous complaints you see here about Jaybirds is their customer service. If they don't want to deal with your bs, they sure will just ignore you and abandon your case/open ticket. If the products were durable, I would consider it, but you're bound to run into a issue sooner than later with these buds. Hope it helped you sway away from Jaybirds. I'm not being paid to endorse any other products. Just little upset that how my X3 came up way short of expectations and how no reps has contacted me to offer to fix and correct the issue.

Thank you so much for your input!!! I’ll still give it a couple days and YES I do agree I noticed this common trend with how bad jay birds customer service is which is adding another reason not to get these headphones. But I’m still in a decision phase. Anyone else? Freedom 2 x3 or runs?

DON'T even waste your money. You will have problems after 2-3 months and there's NOTHING you can do to get the company to respond or replace their garbage product. I was a fool 3X in one year (bought the X3 three times in less than one year, each malfunctioning).

Thanks for the info, I just want to say I did end up ordering Jaybird Run's Earth Day Editions, with that I want to say this

I ended up purchasing the headphone to see if I liked them, I loved how they represented running and Park City, Utah. The customer service reps were horrible I gave them the same question i'm asking here and the response is a very generic response. But I still thought on giving these a shot. The headphones came and sound was horrible, there is a hissing noise in the background of the music, Customer service reps will give some BS scripted answer toward that reason. What you read on these headphones are 100% true when it comes to dropped connectivity. Again (if on Iphone) customer service reps blame apple firmware with a generic pre written response. My opinions on the headphones is this overwall compared to what I have used. The sound quality is NOT ON PAR even with the mediocre sound quality of Powerbeats wireless. YES the powerbeats wireless are NOT TRUE WIRELESS. So lets compare these to the AIRPODS, THE AIRPODS DO NOT LOSE CONNECTIVITY , YOU EASILY USE JUST ONE AT A TIME, EASY TO PAIR AND APPLE HAS A BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. YES the airpods are not water resistant or water proof. The airpods also do not have a hissing noise and provide a cleaner sounds although not as bassy obviously as the RUNS. Airpods are even cheaper than the RUNS, if i were to spend money on a true wireless headphone and know I have a good product and didn't want Apple or Beats I would just go with the Bose Soundsports. Jaybird runs are horrible maybe i'll wait for a next generation RUNs but these first generation ones are so pre mature, and made me actually appreciate the airpods I own. I know if customer service sees this they are going to give some BS "contact us" thing. But trust me their customer service and system is just as crap as their headphones. They market their selves as a company for runners by starting this whole running youtube video series but I've never seen some of them actually use the headphones because even they know they are crap, don't be fooled.
