I recently purchased a pair of X3's and had issues with "white noise" in the background whenever I played media. This noise would persist for 5-10 seconds after sound was paused and was extremely noticeable at lower volumes or in quiet rooms. This problem has been described throughout the X3 and Freedom forum sections and in many Amazon reviews as background "buzzing", "hissing", "static", or "white noise" during playback.
I tried resetting and re-pairing my X3's but this did not resolve the issue. I returned the X3's shortly after and am hesitant about ordering another pair. I would like a definitive answer as to whether this is a quality control issue with select pairs or affects every X3. Strangely, neither my previously owned Bluebuds X or X2's had any form of background noise when playing media. Did the updated model take a hit in quality?
Any information regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
