Hi there, my Freedom Special Edition headphones keep beeping between tracks. It’s quite annoying. How can I disable this ‘feature’?

    Hello Tynan,

Thank you for joining the support community and for posting your query. I can definitely help you with this one.

If you press the volume + or - buttons for more than a second you will hear a beep, an indication that you have successfully skipped tracks.

Being wireless, this is a feature that helps so you don't have to check your phone or music device to skip tracks. This feature cannot be disabled.

Hi Bruce, thanks for the reply, I’m not sure if I’ve worded my original query correctly but the beeping occurs between tracks. For example and album track 1 moving onto track 2 produces the beep without me manually skipping. This is quite annoying!!

I don't remember where I saw this but it works. If you change the volume on the bluetooth headset (raise and then lower) the beeping between songs goes away. I have an iPhone XS Max and IOS 12.2. Hope it works for you.
