Experienced significant static last weekend with the right bud. I used the buds a few times last week at the gym. No static, but the right earbud seemed to have lower sound volume than the left earbud. Looked around the internet for similar issues, but found none. Tried following the Jaybird support instructions to reset the buds by:
- Make sure your buds are powered off.
- From an off state, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds until the LEDs flash red and green.
- Double press the power button. The LED will flash rapidly and you should hear a double tone. Your buds have now been reset.
The X3's no longer power on. If I connect them to the charger, I get a green light.
Found an additional reset procedure here in the forum's:
Firmly but quickly press the power button 8 times and then hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 2 times
This didn't work either...
