    @Robert Miller

    Try this,

    Firmly but quickly press the power button 8 times and then hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 2 times.

    When finished, plug the headset into the charger and tell me what you see.

    Most of the time if the headset turns RED it will charge and function normally again,

    Make sure that if the light is red to fully charge the unit again.

    Try holding the power button down for 10 seconds also some times it takes longer to turn them on.

    I have actually tried the restart option 3 or 4 times now and have tried using different power sources.

    I am also having the same problem.  Bought them from BestBuy on the 24th of November.  I also tried the reset procedure you suggested but it had no effect

    I am having the same issue. Purchased the x3 from the Jaybird website 12/9/16 and received them 12/16/16. I bought them for my son for Christmas so I wanted to make sure they were charged before he opens them. When I plugged them in the red light came on indicating it was charging but after 15 min the light went off and when I turned the headphones one it said 60% charged. And now when I plug it in there isn't a light indicating charging or charged.

    @Joey Martinez Is the headset sitting flush with the charging clip?

    Yes it is, . It is strange that the light was on the first time I plugged indicating charging and now it does nothing. I am using wall charger with the recommended 5v - 500 mA so I figure that rules out battery damage from the power source.

    @Joey Martinez Do you think if we were to get another clip sent out that would help?

    I also am having this issue with my new X3 unit. Ordered from the Jaybird site and received them on Monday. I've tried using my computer and several USB chargers, still having the same issue as others here. Is there something I can do to resolve this? Or is it defective hardware?

    BestBuy just lowered the price to $99 yesterday and they had them in Stock so I bought a pair today and they are working perfectly. No issues with the charging. Might be a bad batch. I am going send my faulty ones back to Logitech / jaybird and get a refund.

    I can't get my X3s to charge either. The light always stays green when plugged into my computer. I really wanted to use these over the holidays. :( I put in a support ticket.

    Same problem as others here.  Plugged into my macbook the day I received them to get full charge.  Now trying to recharge from empty battery and no connection seems to work to get the headphones to charge.  I have them flush with the clip, tried charging using a square apple block, the usb on the computer and even my pocket battery pack.  She keeps saying "Charge Me!"... lol Lady I am trying...

    ??UPDATE?? I just tried using the micro usb cord to charge my battery pack and it sends power. I think I have narrowed the problem down to the clip. For some reason, the clip is not receiving power from the USB micro and then not sending a charge to the headphones.

    I got the same result when I did a similar test... So are we eligible for an exchange? Or at least a new power charger? @Beau Brace
