Status announcements too loud

@Albert Werner Unfortunelty without adjusting the sound bar on your music device there is no way to turn them down. What I recommend is using the LED lights to signal the state of the device.

I want to say that I completely agree with Albert on the loudness of the menu voice when powering on/off or pairing a new device. Why is this set so painfully loud and not user configurable?

I may have to return mine if there is really no way to change the volume.

I would have to agree, the status voice and sound bite is way too loud!

@Kyle Wright Are you out of the return period at Best Buy?

@beau No, I am still within the return window. I am planning to return them shortly due to the non-configurable alert volume.

@Kyle Wright I am sorry to hear that, I wish that I had a way to change that but I will definitely bring this up higher to see what can be done in the future. Thank you for all the feedback.

On more pair of ears agree that the ANNOUNCE volume is WAY TOO LOUD!!! it's ridiculous.

Yeah, it's ridiculous, and not only that, if there is nothing playing for a little while the stupid voice comes on saying: headphones connected, well duh, I know that, no need to keep reminding me. Too bad that gimmicky things like this ruins a otherwise good product.

Agree with everyone above. The voice is way too loud. It would be great if announcement noise should conform with the earphone/device volume.

We are currently working on an update to change the voice prompt volume. Thank you for bringing that up, in the mean time I just suggest using the LED lights to indicate that power prompts. The Green light indicates the power on and the Red LED indicates power off.

I agree with everyone above.  This is a big problem, and for the cost of the headphones I would not recommend this product to anyone at this time.  When can my ears expect some relief?

Ugh, the "Battery 20%" announcement is the worst. I tend to listen to relaxing music at low volume. However if I don't keep my battery level topped off, this announcement comes in at full volume regardless of my listening volume. For my use case of listening to music to relax, this product simply does not meet my needs.

Any news on this one? I'm totally frustrated by this "feature" and gonna send my headphones back.

Returning these, I can't listen to drums or trambuline or whatever that is every time I turn these on. Why did any of the developers thought this was a good idea, very poor design choice. I bet they also have no way of fixing this through a software update so everyone, just deal with this. Don't expect any fix because it won't happen.

Any update? The announcements are way too loud and they come when they are the least expected.

Any update on this? I agree the announcements are way too loud. And we should be able to disable the start up music. Who thought that was a good idea?

I actually developed a habit to turn the headphones on just before putting them on, just not to hear that start-up jingle. No feasible solutions for battery status announcements found though :|

Any update on this? I'm begging you, please resolve this. The 20% notification in particular, every single day, is driving me crazy. Going to have to ditch them if it's not sorted. Huge design flaw, worse than the ridiculous charging clip

Is there an update on this? I want to keep using these headphones but I don't like being slapped in the face every time I turn them on.

They almost blow out my eardrums, please end this disaster. I don't nee or want an earthshatteringly loud announcement that my battery is low, it startles me so much it literally forces me to scream out mother fucker - which then causes more problems.

Basically just gonna bump this. All sounds are loud as fuck. The startup and shutdown sounds are frustrating to hear every time. The battery alerts are startling.
