My earphones turn off after being on for a few minutes

    Hi Timberdude,

     

    I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird X2's are powering off. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

     

    Here is a list of steps for the Factory Reset:

     

    1.Make sure your buds are powered off.

    2.From an off state, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds until the LEDs flash red and green.

    3.Hold both volume buttons down for eight (8) seconds. The LED will flash rapidly and you should hear a double tone. Your buds have now been reset.

    Thanks Bruce, I have tried holding power button for up to 30 seconds, but the LED does not flash until I release the power button. Then when holding the volume buttons, I never see the rapidly flashing LED or hear the double tone. So I don’t think I can successfully reset. Any other ideas?
