    Also when I try to make a call there's a lot of static when it's ringing. And then the person can't hear me at all. But no static when listening to music.

    @Peter Rzazewski Have you tried a hard reset on the headset and device to see if that helps at all?

    I have not. How do you do a hard reset on the headset? And as for my phone, I will not erase all the contents and settings if that's what a hard reset means. There is too much on there and it's too customized...it would take hours to get it back to the same.

    @Peter Rzazewski

    To reset your Freedom buds to their original factory settings, put your buds in pairing mode by turning the buds off then push and hold the center button for more than 4 seconds until you see alternating red/green LED.

    While the LEDs are flashing red/green double tap the center button. Upon successful party reset, the LED turns orange and your buds turn off.

    NOTE: Once your buds have been reset and you power on they will automatically go into paring mode. Select “Forget” or “Remove”  Jaybird Freedom from your device’s bluetooth menu and pair again.

    I did as instructed and RE paired the headset. It seems to sound like its connection to outgoing calls but while it's ringing the other person, I hear loud static in the background. Theb when the person answers, they can't hear me.

    @Peter Rzazewski I am sorry that nothing has worked thus far, if you could please send a chat, call or email into the link below. One of our Agents can help you set up a warranty claim to get you a different headset.

    No because I never got them working with calls. I can hear the person speaking, but they don't hear me. I bought them used on craigslist so I guess I don't have warranty support. I did pay quite a lot for them and I'm dissappointed that such expensive wireless headphones doesn't have a functioning mic.

    I see, I just have static when I call, and when they are talking, but no static when they are hearing me talk. Sorry about your case. Ya I would stay away from ebay and craigslist for most electronic purhcases man, including laptops etc...

    It really sucks because I bought mine on craigslist so I guess the warranty is void. I can't do any calls through them at all. :(
