    Hi bsensing,

I'm sorry to hear that your replacement Jaybird Freedom will not hold a charge. Let me provide you suggestions that can help resolve the issue.

    - Factory reset

    1. Turn headphones off.

    2. Put headphones into Pairing mode by holding the middle button for 6-8 seconds until it says "Searching for your Music Device" and the headphones to flash red and green.

    3. Once in Pairing Mode, push the middle button twice and wait for the lights to flash red and turn off.

    4. Delete or "Forget" the headset profile from the Bluetooth list of the mobile device.

    5. Put headphones back into pairing mode and connect them to your device.

    6. Test the headset afterwards.

    - 8 Button Process

    1. Firmly but quickly press the power button 8 times and then hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 2 times.

    2. When finished, plug the headset into the charger for 2.5 hours and check the color of the LED status lights.

    3. Power ON the device by holding the power button for 10 seconds or more.

NOTE: Most of the time if the headset turns RED, it will charge and function normally again. Make sure to fully charge the headset when the light is red.

    - Firmware Update

    1. Download the Firmare Update Assistant at https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/dfu.html

    2. Follow the instructions that the assistant will provide

    3. Test the headset afterwards.

    Hope this helps.

    Warm regards,

    Egie

I Tried all these methods to no avail. Can I be compensated for this faulty pair in some way?
