I bought my BlueBud X headphones in 2014 for $135.49. I used it sparingly for my workouts, etc over the past 3 years. It just died on me a few weeks ago. I opened a ticket with Jaybird and I was just told that LIFETIME is actually only 2 years. WTF!!! 2 years is not LIFETIME. it's 2 Flipping years. According to what I was told on the phone by Jaybird support is that the warranty is for the "LIFETIME" of the 200 (and something... I forgot the exact number in my frustration) charging cycles.
If the WARRANTY is for 2 years or 200+ cycles then the WARRANTY should only be for 2 years or 200+ cycles.... "NOT LIFETIME."
How can they tell me without looking at my device how many charging cycles that my units have?
So, my unit is dead and I guess I have to buy a new pair. Why would I buy a new pair of Jaybird's for 100$ when I can get a different brand for $30?
Sorry Jaybird you just lost a customer.
