Do you live in a city? HAHA! I know that is a weird question. However, Jaybird has a notoriously bad bluetooth connection issue in populated areas. They like to use bluetooth 4.1, when bluetooth 4.2 and 5.0 exists. Their newest earbuds still use 4.1. This means that you will encounter a lot of interference as you walk around a populated area. Jaybird advertisements generally show athletes running around the mountains and woods or indoors.

Now if these problems occur while you are indoors, then you have a bad pair and you should replace them.

I was sitting on my bed doing homework and it kept cutting out(still keeps cutting out) when my phone was in my right pocket. Im using the over ear method. I do live in a city but when i used the under ear method it worked fine. This sucks since the over ear method is way better. I also love everything in the Jaybird X3 but this issue makes them pretty much useless. Im just gonna swap them to another pair and if the same issues will continue im screwed since the X3:s are perfect for my everyday use and sports.

It seems like there is something wrong with your earbuds. The connection should be pretty good indoors. Exchange them and see if the new ones are better. Keep exchanging them until you get the ones that sound the best.
