How can I get new charger cord? Email site isn't correct.

I bought jay bird freedom sprint wireless earphones. The charger cord broke. I tried to write the company but the web site address is a different company who was nice enough to call me and say it happens all the time. What can I do about getting a new cord or having my earphones replaced?

  It's sad to hear that the charging cable of your Jaybird Freedom Sprint broke. I regret to inform you that we do not manufacture anymore the charging cable for that model. However, we can suggest that you check this on third-party online and local stores in your region. The charging cable of the Freedom Sprint is an 8-pin to USB.

  I just bought them 8 months ago? So I'm out that money? No suggestions for replacement or something I can do? This isn't very good public service. I've tried to charge them with different cords, I've gone back to Best Buy. No one can help?
